Can-Vibrations

A double dose of looping infinity. Snowing in NYC on Valentines day 2015.

Can-Flows

The aerosol can was never intended to be an art making tool when it was introduced back in the early 1950’s. By the early 1970’s graffiti writers had given it another context and a another purpose. That purpose would become the tool that has steadily produced some of most prolific and energetic art to date. Graffiti has become one of the largest art movements of the 21st century. The spray can continues to inspire me. Like the original purpose of spray paint technology, I find a repurposed metaphor in my work as the can has become my subject of digital exploration more than a tool for painting. Everything evolves.
