New works are flowing in various formats but I am happy to share a sneak peek of these two new wood reliefs. (I had to animate it of course) These are evolutions in letter forms and graffiti. The last two years have brought forth some new challenges in the development of what I thought I knew about fragmenting and dislocating the letter forms. SLOW continues to flow, but keeping things static and flat does not keep my interest all the time.

SLOW WOOD

How are these pieces made? More on this soon as a tutorial is in the works.

Letters

In between my travels today I stopped by the QCC Art Gallery in Bayside, NY to view a pair of my early wood tags. I included them in the CUNY QCC Art Department’s faculty exhibition. The show runs through the 6th of June 2015. More info is here.
