Guest Artist Presentation :: Meredith Starr :: November 2016
On November 1st, Artist, Friend, Colleague & Professor Meredith Starr gave a wonderful presentation and critique in my Graduate MFA & MA Thesis course at LIU Post. Meredith spoke deeply not only about her work but also her process and practice. She discussed how she creates opportunities for herself and her students as well. I asked my students to bring in one piece of current work to present to Meredith so that they could have an exchange and critique the piece on the spot. I asked my class to respond to her visit, her critique of their work, and what inspired them most. The original dialog takes place on our class blog here but I wanted to use this opportunity to apply a little bit of code into the wordpress blog editor.
