This new portrait is inspired by Carl Jung’s work on the “Shadow-Self” archetype, this image represents a collective shadow-self that derives from our attempts to adapt to the societal and cultural expectations of our system. Lurking within, the shadow will always surface and bring a storm. Will that storm play out on loop with-in or take form on the outside?
