ART642 Summer 2017 Zine Collab and Digital Exhibition!
The ART642 ZINE Exhibition is in its Second Edition!
The online exhibition is an “infinite scroll” collaborative digital ZINE created by the students and professor of the ART642 New Media in Art Course at LIU Post in NY.
The project was highly influenced and inspired by our friend Hrag Vartanian who was a wonderful guest speaker in our class this spring semester of 2017.
The individual collage works were first made manually from applied art techniques using drawing, painting, photography, printmaking and digital manipulations. Each piece was created at 8.5″ x 11″ photocopied and co-curated into a sequence, printed in black and white and bound into a physical zine. (below)
