The original drawing begins with a hand-style line flow with a sharpie marker.
The sharpie drawing is photographed with my iphone and airdropped onto my mac. I open the file in adobe illustrator and covert it with the live trace feature. The live trace feature converts the image to a high resolution vector object. I save the file as an Ai. file and reopen it in photoshop.
The individual shapes can easily be selected with the magic wand tool and filled with color. This process is a lot fun and seriously endless. This is one of the iterations that I liked. The static image is saved in both photoshop and web ready jpeg formats.
Now its time to animate it, back soon with the results….
