Building the Timeline – 1983 – Present day
The Ryan Seslow Museum of Art & Design
The Ryan Seslow Museum of Art & Design is a living studio, a digital museum, and an active archive that unfolds in real time. Visitors aren’t stepping into a static institution. They’re entering an evolving record of a life lived through art, design, technology, and relentless creation. Every page is a corridor in motion. Every update is a new room added to the architecture.
The museum blends decades of practice with the immediacy of daily work. Drawings, paintings, animations, sculptures, installations, writing, curriculum, experiments, 3D forms, prototypes, collaborations, and ephemeral notes all coexist here. New work appears alongside older work, creating a timeline that loops, folds, and reframes itself. This is an ecosystem dedicated to the full bandwidth of creativity rather than a curated sliver.
Rather than waiting for a grand opening, the museum invites visitors into the build. You’re witnessing the construction of a long-form legacy while it’s happening. Rooms, collections, and exhibitions will emerge, expand, and shift as the practice continues to grow. The museum is intentionally porous, welcoming process, experimentation, and works-in-progress as essential parts of the experience.
This is a museum for the present and the future. It operates as a studio, a classroom, a research lab, and a public archive. Whether you’re returning daily or discovering it for the first time, the invitation is the same: explore, revisit, follow the threads, and watch the architecture evolve.
THE FACTORY
This is the Factory: a visual conveyor belt where the archive is constantly reprocessed. Watch as 40 years of artifacts mix with today’s raw creations in a perpetual loop of art and design.
CURRENT EXHIBITIONS
THE RSMAD SCULPTURE PARK
THIRTY SEVEN SCULPTURES IN AN OPEN FIELD, IN A BROWSER AND IN VR
This exhibition renders live 3D in the browser and in a VR headset from the same link. Please allow a few moments for the field to load. No plugin or headset is required to look.
The Ryan Seslow Museum of Art & Design presents The RSMAD Sculpture Park. Thirty seven works stand in an open field eight hundred meters across, under an open sky, ringed by a forest. You can walk between them and you can fly.
Scale is the exhibition. Nothing is placed at the size it was made. Every work was measured and then given a height deliberately, on a ladder running from eight meters to a hundred and twenty nine, with no two alike. The smallest work still stands more than four times taller than the viewer standing in front of it.
Almost all of it began as a drawing, analog and digital, going back years, converted into 3D. Several pieces began as physical objects made by hand and photographed, then rebuilt from those photographs after the originals were destroyed for want of studio space. The park is world building, and it is also recovery. Some of what stands in the field is standing because the original could not.

REALITY ENGINE MODELS
A NEW COLLECTION OF 3D MODELS FOR AR / VR & MIXED REALITY INTERFACE
This exhibition renders live 3D AR/VR volumetric data models. Please allow a few moments for the assets to fully initialize. Best viewed on stable desktop connections.
The Ryan Seslow Museum of Art & Design presents the Reality Engine Models. An interactive browser-based exhibition featuring a collection of experimental 3D spatial works developed from Ryan Seslow’s long-running drawing, painting, typography, graffiti, and digital abstraction practices.
The exhibition presents twenty interactive volumetric models that viewers can rotate, inspect, isolate, and explore directly within the browser through real-time 3D rendering systems. Each object functions simultaneously as sculpture, drawing, interface, artifact, and spatial experiment.
Nearly all of the works originated as flat 2D compositions before being translated into dimensional form through a hybrid workflow utilizing Adobe Illustrator, Blender, Adobe Dimension, Meshy.ai, and additional spatial computing tools. The resulting models preserve traces of their original line work, graphic structures, gestural language, and compositional tension while evolving into fully navigable spatial entities.
MONOLITHICA
The Ryan Seslow Museum of Art & Design presents its inaugural exhibition, a retrospective diving into one of the many prolific outputs of the archive (2008–2025).
MONOLITHICA tracks a distinct visual evolution: the moment where the tactile world meets the screen. The collection moves from the sharp, reductive vector graphics of the early 2000s into a dense, layered exploration where analog collage is converted into a new digital language.
Vintage magazine cuts, street textures, and hand-drawn elements are scanned, manipulated, and permanently fused with digital aesthetics.
🕶️ BEST EXPERIENCED IN VR
INTUITIVE DRAWINGS / 2022-2024
The Ryan Seslow Museum of Art & Design presents its second exhibition: Intuitive Drawings 2022/2024.
These drawings were made fast. No planning, no sketching, no second-guessing, just a marker, a surface, and the impulse to move lines. Each one was completed in barely minutes, sometimes seconds, driven by the same intuitive energy that has fueled decades of mark-making rooted in and inspired by the NYC graffiti culture of the 1980s and 90s. The short videos in this exhibition were captured between 2022 and 2024, a two-year window of sustained creative practice documented in real time.
AREMES LIVING CANVAS
User Interactive – Ongoing – Launched April 2026
The Ryan Seslow Museum of Art & Design presents: AREMES, Living Canvas.
What the AREMES Living Canvas Is
At its most immediate level, the canvas is an interactive composition space. When you arrive at the page, 40 plus assets from my archive, illustrations, GIFs, figures, forms, abstractions, animations are scattered across a black field at randomized scales and positions. Every refresh generates a new arrangement. Every visit is a different painting.

Letter Forms, Numbers, Symbols, Icons, Metaphors & Syntax
Decades stack, an unconscious daily practice emerges, the noticing, recording and documenting of the patterns. Language forms..

Sculpture & 3D through the Years
2002 – 2022
Coming Soon / Showing: December 3rd 2027 – May 3rd 2027
The Ryan Seslow Museum of Art & Design grew from a simple daily habit: make something, solve something, learn something. Over the years that rhythm fused art and design into one continuous practice. Paintings, drawings, sculptures, animations, websites, installations, strange experiments, client projects, and classroom moments all fed the same engine. What began as separate disciplines slowly became a single visual language, shaped by repetition, curiosity, and time.
The museum exists because decades of showing up produced more than just work. It produced patterns. It produced a way of thinking. It produced a system for turning ideas into form. Anyone who spends enough years making and refining their craft builds a language of their own, and this space is where that language can be seen unfolding across eras, projects, and mediums.
Everything you’ll find here is connected to that lifelong loop of creating and problem-solving. Sometimes the work addresses a client’s need, sometimes it emerges from a personal question or a sudden spark, but it all grows from the same source. The museum invites visitors to witness that continuity and realize that this kind of evolution is available to anyone. Creativity compounds. Small actions add up. A daily practice can reshape a life.
This space celebrates that journey and encourages others to begin, or continue, their own.
