Relief Oil Stick Transfer in Process
Work in progress – this is a relief oil stick transfer print technique. Meaning: the portraits are drawing with an oil stick on thick translucent paper and then pressed one at a time onto the canvas to create the composition. I love the aesthetic it creates in the texture of the canvas. Im now filling in the color slowly. This piece is about 80% comolete and only the color parts needs to be layered a bit flatted for the opaqueness Im seeking.
