Wearing hearing aids is hard work. It is a constant struggle to find someone’s voice in the sea of over amplified unrelated sounds. Be patient with me. I’m visual. Everything I missed, and everything “I filled in” to make up for it turns into an image or icon in my...

Instagram post 2192338636352424908_333064899 Im excited to have a piece in this year’s edition of Art Basel Miami - come and check out room #226 at Aqua ⚡️⚡️⚡️ showing with fellow artists - @shimartnetwork @michellemcauliffe @themava #artbaselmiami #miami #art #contemporaryart #videoart #ryanseslow
Instagram post 2190057940611006567_333064899 I started writing a #tutorial on the process of converting lines and #drawings into planes, then showing how those flat planes become volumetric mass through both applied and software extrusions. My process of making applied art and using software and computers has been a part of my work since the early 1990s. If I can draw it, I always want it to be more, I want to push it further while still having the viewer notice the simplified shapes and lines that equate back to my stylized drawing. Also, over the years, art teachers (at various levels) have reached out to me about this and asked if there was a video or step by step process online to help share examples whilst in the making phases, sorry its taking so long, Im working on it. :))) Thank You! #art #artist #process #steps #sculpture #adobe #new #fun #character #nyc #ryanseslow

Instagram post 2180625735283522425_333064899 Oh yes, its time to start #3D printing :))) - this image was extruded from a recent wall relief #sculpture that was made in my studio. (Which I really like at the moment) Been waiting to “feel” the right piece I wanted to 3D proto-type for printing. Forward we go. #bboy #new #figure #art #nyc #ryanseslow ##3dprinting #prototype #letterforms #graffiti
Instagram post 2179964980611751047_333064899 Some fun stuff going on. I enjoy finding metaphors in the transition process of something 2-dimensional as it grows into something 3-dimensional. Kind of like the space between the notes, the space between the words.. get it? #art #new #bboy #portrait #sculpture #comingsoon #ryanseslow #nyc #recycle
Instagram post 2178663099100748903_333064899 #wip Detail - working in the pre-winter ☀️ sun today - #mural for the awesome peoples at the @brooklynwineco #brooklynwineco - come on down to 205 5th Ave (corner of Union St.) #parkslope #brooklyn #nyc - check out the beautiful new store!
