I have been wanting to arrange a series of NYC inspired GIF animations with still photos this way for a while now. A composite? A montage? An arrangement? Whatever you see is fine. The images and animations have been made over the last few months. Taken from various occasions ranging from past exhibitions to random snap shots while on the street, this is an attempt to tell a visual story with the synthesized still image and the subtle lopping moving image. The intentionally created animated fiction meets non fictional confrontations to generate a new portal in time. From the physical to the virtual, more indeed.
