Portal of Disrupted Memory, 2021
I’m excited to announce my latest mint on SuperRare, a singular 1/1 edition titled “Portal of Disrupted Memory”. View it here
Created in 2021, this piece is the first in a rare series of inkjet relief mono-prints that emerged directly from my ongoing exploration of digital collage. My process began by layering fragments of digital imagery into dense, shifting compositions, then outputting those collages through an inkjet printer. Instead of stopping at the print, I physically disrupted the surface, re-inking and pressing the sheet again to produce something tactile, unstable, and alive. I fell for the aesthetic, and am still trying to replicate it consistently…

The result is a hybrid between screen and surface. The work feels like an object that exists in both worlds at once: the crisp immediacy of digital pixels colliding with the softness of physical ink absorption. Geometry fractures, colors bleed, and edges dissolve. Within the distortions you can still sense echoes of order, architecture bent into abstraction, memory layered with glitch aesthetics, fragments of past images reemerging as specters in the present.
Portal of Disrupted Memory is not just the start of a technique, but the beginning of a lineage in my archive. As the inaugural work in this series, it stands as a threshold: the bridge between the analog tactility of printmaking and the immaterial persistence of digital media. This is a place where art refuses to settle into one definition. Instead, it becomes a portal, a preserved disruption, a relic of transition, a marker of how technology, memory, and materiality are merging to form the aesthetics of our time.
Minted now as a singular edition, this work continues my larger commitment to bringing overlooked, process-driven experiments from the past into the blockchain space, where they can live indefinitely as part of a shared digital and cultural archive.
